There will be no opportunities to marvel at good choices (last year, newly separated Reese Witherspoon showed her sexy side in a yellow Nina Ricci cocktail dress) or chortle at the bad (the image of Lara Flynn Boyle in a pink tutu at the 2003 Globes remains a Pepto-Bismolish nightmare).
